This event, hosted by the Dropout Prevention Alliance for Utah Students with Disabilities, brought over 100 Utah educators together for an interactive meeting featuring successful and promising dropout prevention strategies and implementation practices.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY
  • Overview of key research-based recommendations in Dropout Prevention, a practice guide published by the U.S. Department of Education's Institute of Education Sciences, presented by Dr. Loujeania Bost, Director of the National Dropout Prevention Center for Students with Disabilities
  • Dropout prevention success stories from national and local schools and districts
  • Opportunities to share and discuss dropout prevention efforts with experts and other participants
